 VALUING WATER: 2021 PHILANTHROPIC FOCUS 

Water preservation has become a universal challenge and will surely continue to be as we anticipate a 40% decrease of water resources by 2030. Despite the scope of the issue, corporate environmental strategies very rarely value water. With the support of our philanthropic partner the French water authority: Agence de l’Eau Adour Garonne we’ll prove water resources to be a strong asset within society and business models’ transformation.

The zero carbon goal

How can we decarbonise our companies and our society? We will be looking at low-consumption, rational energy transition strategies for our industries, companies and regions 

Themed 2nd half-day

 The circular economy 

How can we scale down primary raw material consumption to ensure future supplies while reducing our carbon and resource footprints? We will spotlight the re-use of resources, to build new cooperations and spark the design of integrated materials recycling and re-use systems.

Regional recovery

 What opportunities does the European Green Deal offer our companies? Economic activity relocation policy, roll-out of the social and solidarity economy, the role of responsible digital technology, etc. What will be the Deal’s role and how will it be deployed in companies?

Nature and biodiversity 

Drawing inspiration from living organisms (biomimicry) offers interesting avenues for research and innovation. How can knowledge of living organisms enable us to better understand production cycles and facilitate adaptation to change? How can we create a regenerative economy?
